Moharli Gate is the oldest, most visited, and historically celebrated entry point to the core area of Tadoba National Park. Located in the southern sector of the reserve, it is approximately 45 km from Chandrapur and 140 km from Nagpur.
The terrain accessed through Moharli Gate encompasses picturesque waterbodies like Telia Dam and Tadoba Lake, interspersed with teak woodlands and expansive grasslands. It has served as the hunting and breeding grounds for legendary tiger icons like Waghdoh, Maya, and Matkasur.
